Porvoo is a transition care facility located in Saket, New Delhi. We are a 16 bed centre providing critical care and post-operative care to patients requiring long term support.
Why do we do what we do ?
In the current healthcare scenario in India, a patient requiring services like long term critical care or Post-Operative care has broadly two options: either to be admitted in a hospital or to set up a hospital-like facility at home. Both these options have their own set of major constraints. A long-term hospital stay can be both mentally and financially draining. On the other hand, keeping a patient at home requires critical care equipment, skilled medical professionals and trained helpers. Added to this is the increase in the chances of infection, lack of immediate assistance coupled with emotional and physical stress for the family.
This is where a transition care center like Porvoo acts as the perfect solution. Dr. Tyagi comes with over 30 years of experience in establishing greenfield projects and M&A’s with multinational players in Dialysis. Holding an MD, PHD (Nephrology) and an MBA, he is the Managing Director for B. Braun Avitum Russia. Dr. Tyagi manages more than 90 Dialysis centers in Russia treating nearly 10,000 patients across his centers.
Ashish has a rich experience of 10 years in building and managing startups across a diverse range of fields. Equipped with an MBA in International Healthcare from Frankfurt School of Finance and Management, he is currently the Managing Director of Nephromed Russia, an organization that specializes in establishing dialysis clinics and providing dialysis treatment. Prior to this, he was managing the B. Braun Avitum operations for Asia Pacific.
Armed with an MBA from Xavier Institute of Management Bhubaneswar (XIMB), Rahul specializes in Operations and Marketing. Before entering the healthcare ecosystem, Rahul has a hands-on experience of more than 4 years managing sales in a leading FMCG organization and driving projects and performance metrics across cities at the helm of the startup ecosystem at Swiggy.

We have a team of critical care specialist nurses who work 24*7 in unison to ensure patient comfort and recovery. Vastly experienced, they combine their knowledge and passion to deliver excellent clinical outcomes.
